As a gel: Dissolve 97g of powder in 65ml of boiling water. Stir well and allow to cool completely before consuming. Refrigerate for 30 minutes for a firmer consistency.

As an energy drink: Add more water to taste - 2 portions to 800ml for a high-carb training drink. For an electrolyte hit, add 1g of salt per portion.

When to take it: For best results, take your first portion 30–45 minutes into your activity, then repeat every 45–60 minutes. FlexiFuel is recommended for activities over 2.5 hours.

Is FlexiFuel vegan? Yes. FlexiFuel is 100% vegan, plant-powered, and free from lactose and palm oil. It carries no animal-derived ingredients.

Is FlexiFuel an energy gel or an energy drink? Both. That's the point. Mix it with 65ml of water for a gel, or dilute it further into an 800ml energy drink. It's the only endurance fuel you need to carry.

How many portions do I need for a marathon? For a marathon (3–5 hours), most athletes need 3–5 portions. Take your first around 30–45 minutes in and repeat every 45–60 minutes. If you're also using an energy drink, adjust accordingly.

What is cluster dextrin and why does it matter? Cluster dextrin (also known as cyclic dextrin) is a highly branched carbohydrate that empties from the stomach faster than standard maltodextrin, reducing GI stress during hard efforts. Combined with fructose, it allows your body to absorb more carbohydrates per hour than a single-source gel.
